Wiring information for Viper 5900 car alarm and 2008 Ford Mustang GT

In our latest episode, Viper 5900 Car Alarm Installation, we show you how to install a Viper 5900 car alarm on a 2008 Ford Mustang GT, complete with all the wiring information that you need.  You may remember seeing this bit at the end of the scrolling wiring information segment:

Well, here it is, in all it’s glory.  Hopefully it will help a lot of people out that are trying to install this alarm on the exact same vehicle, one similar, or even a vehicle that’s entirely different.  Comment below if you have any questions and if we can’t answer them, maybe someone else will be able to!

Viper 5900 to OEM Wire & Location

H1 Primary Harness (12 Pin Connector)

Red/White: White/Purple (Black 52 pin @ SJB)
Red: Green/Purple (Ignition Switch Harness)
Brown: Green (Gray 52 pin @ SJB)
Violet: Green/Yellow (Gray 26 pin @ SJB)
Black/White: Green/Yellow (Gray 26 pin @ SJB)
Blue: Blue/Green (Black 26 pin @SJB)
Light Green: White/Purple (Black 26 pin @ SJB)

H2 Auxillary Harness (6 Pin Connector)

Not used if you do not have the factory alarm installed

H3 Remote Start Harness (5 Pin Connector)

Gray: Goes to hood pin connector

H4 Harness (2 Pin Connector)

Brown: Dark Blue (Black 52 pin @ SJB)

Door Lock Harness (3 Pin Connector)

Green: White/Violet (Black 26 pin @ SJB)
Blue: Dark Blue/Green (Black 26 pin @ SJB)

Relay Satellite Ribbon Harness
(Heavy Gauge Inline Connector)

Purple: Green (Starter Side @ Ignition Harness)
Green: Green (Key Side @ Ignition Harness)
