The 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK Motorz Project Vehicle Heads to SEMA 2016

img_0751It’s hard to believe that the 2016 SEMA Show is almost here! For this year’s show, we’ll be bringing our intensely modified 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK Motorz Project Vehicle to the Superwinch booth #31017 (South Hall). We’ve upgraded a number of vehicles throughout Motorz history, but this Jeep Wrangler stands a good shot at being one of the most extreme builds we’ve brought together. Here’s a sneak peak at what to expect, and who helped us with the ambitious project.

While we’re waiting for the show start for the big unveil, believe us when we say the wrap on our Wrangler is truly mind-blowing. The design is Kryptek Vinyl Powered by CMYK Grafix on vinyl provided by Avery Dennison and applied by A.P.E. Wraps. The styling was crafted to make our Jeep stand out at a show where even the wildest can blend in. So you know it’s going to be truly one-of-a-kind.

Exterior modifications hardly end there. The Bestop Trektop Pro adds an actual rear glass window and easy-lift hatch to the Wrangler. It’s one of the most innovative soft top solutions we’ve come across, and is virtually unrivaled in the market. For Wrangler owners who want more practicality but not a hard top, this is the perfect solution.

For our wheel and tire setup, we went with 22″x10″ Hostile Wheels Exiles wrapped with the all-new 37″ STT Pro off-road tire from Cooper Tires (stay tuned for more info in the near future). Not only does this combo look the part, but it’s an ideal mix of form and function coming together perfectly. MCE Fenders help to keep that meaty wheel and tire mix within the bodywork.

Lending even more attitude to our Jeep’s profile are new front and rear bumpers from Iron Cross, paired with new headlights and taillights from J.W. Speaker. Additional exterior touches include Rugged Ridge half doors and Paramount Automotive Grille.

Performance has been dialed up as well. For additional ground clearance, we went with Skyjacker Curt LeDuc Series Coilovers. Providing a 4-6″ lift, the kit not only brings your Wrangler closer to the sky, but with innovations like hydraulic bump stops, it keeps the ride in check as well, even if you bottom out. A dual battery setup from Odyssey Battery was also installed to make sure there’s always enough juice to keep going. In a very cool twist, the Iron Cross front bumper will include a brand-new, pre-production Superwinch until that will be available for order after SEMA. Stay tuned for more info!

Moving inside, further modifications include sharp (and loud) Kicker Audio Enclosures with KM 6.5″ Coaxials. We also included Bestop seat covers and floor mats. Finishing touches and accessories include Rugged Ridge Fender Liners, Hinge Covers, Lug Nuts and Rear Plate/Light Mount.

Our 2016 Jeep Wrangler build will be unveiled at the Superwinch booth on November 1st, 2016!

Now that’s a build list! Stay tuned closely to Motorz on Facebook and Twitter, as we’ll be posting live from the show with our Jeep Wrangler and much, much more!
