With the 2013 SEMA Show getting fired up, there is a truly colossal array of aftermarket companies being showcased. From small, bolt-on accessories to complex forced induction systems, virtually any component you can imagine can be found at this massive show. Not to be outdone by smaller organizations, several factory auto manufacturers are displaying their own modified vehicles. Dodge is the latest to unveil a fully-modified ride with the 2014 Ram Sun Chaser.
Made to truly cruise the dunes and coastline of the western United States, the Sun Chaser is ready to do exactly as its name implies. Based on a 2013 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, this concept features a roof rack with rear supports in the bed side rails. The setup is made to hold a longboard and can carry up to four shorter boards on the sides of the rails. Interestingly, the truck incorporates a full shower including a removable tank, pump and shower head. To finish it off, what road trip is complete without some tailgating? For the ultimate experience, the Sun Chaser has a pair of seats and cup holders that flip out from the inner tailgate.
