For October, David Vick’s Dodge Challenger SRT8 is sheer, unadulterated muscle. Not satisfied with the R/T Challenger after test driving it, David decided to head towards the far more capable SRT8 performance model. Although the 6.1 liter V8 would be enough for most drivers, for David it was simply the beginning. Fitted with a ProCharger D1, with intercooler, the Challenger now puts out a massive 538 rear-wheel horsepower, or approximately 620 horsepower barely restrained ponies under the hood. In addition to the ProCharger, performance modifications include an MSD Programmable Fuel Pump Voltage Booster, Kooks Off-Road headers, Corsa Xtreme dual exhaust with GTX style tips, a Diable Predator engine tuner and much, much more.
On the outside, the SRT8 remains mostly stock with the exception of very unique Color-Shift Halo LED lights from ORACLE Lighting. In addition, 3M flame graphics adorn the hood and front quarter panels.
Not to be satisfied with even the extreme performance the Challenger now has, David plans to install a 426 Stroker kit to send the dyno number above 700 horsepower. To ensure safety when taking it to the drag strip, a roll cage may also be installed soon. See this amazing ride for yourself in the photo gallery below!
