Episode Notes
Welcome to the premiere episode of the 7th season of Motorz! In this episode #85 (S07E01), Chris Duke shows you how to install new aftermarket products on our 2014 Jeep Wrangler project vehicle. He starts off by showing you how easy it is to add new headliners from Hothead Headliners, then he preps the electrical system with the sPod for some aftermarket products we’ll add in later episodes.
Did you know how easy it is to upgrade not just the speakers but also the sound processor for your stock head unit’s music? Kicker Sub & Sound Processor does the trick and you’ll see how easy it is to make that upgrade happen in your Jeep! After the electrical is wrapped up, Chris moves on to show you how to swap out your stock carpet with the more rugged BedTred, upgrades the cloth seats to Katzkin leather–but before he does that he installs the Katzkin Degreez system which allows for cooling and heating of your seats with the flip of a switch! Then they’re topped off with Covercraft SeatSavers to protect the leather when off-road. We top off the interior with some H3R Performance Fire Extinguishers, because you never know what’s going to happen out there!
Then Alan Taylor takes you to the BMW Teen Driving School with his son Christian, and later heads to the wine country to test drive the new Kawasaki Mule!
In Letterz, Chris answers viewer mail while sporting a new shop shirt wardrobe thanks to Genuine Hotrod Hardware, and in Partz, he talks about Craftsman’s Craftsman Portable Air Mover and the incredibly cool Superwinch Kangaroo Kinetic Recovery Rope!
This episode also features Chris and Alan’s youngest kids! See if you can spot them both!
As always, be sure to stick around to watch our out-takes at the very end during the credits!
