December 2011 was the first month we had our new contest in effect – and we got a ton of entries!
This month, we decided on Ryan Papp of Elkton, MD and his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab!
Read on to check out his awesome ride, and an example of the cover you could win next month!
Ryan’s Dodge is extensively modded, and you could tell it’s mean and clean!
He drives a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab with the 6.7L Diesel engine that sits on 20″ Rockstars wrapped in Nitto trail grapplers sized at 305/55/20.
Inside this beast, Ryan has an upgraded factory 6 disk with navigation, two Kenwood 10″ subwoofers in fiberglass formed enclosures under rear seat with amps.
On the outside – a Fold-a-cover three piece hard tonneau cover to protect whatever he hauls inside his bed (our guess is his Firefighting gear)! To notify the folks behind him that his truck is coming to a stop, full LED tail lights, and a smoked third brake light.
Ryan’s Dodge is powered by River City 66mm/74mm Turbos on a 3rd Gen PDI exhaust manifold, Dynomite Diesel Performance 90HP injectors, ARP head studs, Airdog 165 fuel system, tuned from a Smarty handheld running the 25TNT software and a TS Performance MP-8 Transmission. An ATS Stage 4 Auto Trans Package which includes: ATS Built 68RFE Auto Trans, ATS 5 Star Viskus Clutch Drive Torque Converter, ATS Extra Deep Transmission Pan, ATS CoPilot Torque Converter Lock-Up Controller, ATS Billet Flex Plate and Billet Input Shaft
While this appears to be an extensive list of mods already, Ryan assures us his beast is far from complete with plans for traction bars and a front weight rack/box for sled pulling.
He tells us that besides being a bad ass daily driver he hopes to be more competitive in the local sled pulling events, and take a few passes down the 1/4 mile at his local track!
