  1. hey I was wondering, I am wanting to install my satellite radio into my car but I want to eliminate the cigarette power adapter.. is there anyways of doing this or do you have a video showing the process of this?? I have attempted it already and have had no luck was wondering if that extra black cylinder on the wire is a stepper for the power up or down or is it just a noise eliminator?? hope someone can help

  3. @speedfreakcl67 You can definitely hard-wire the system. We’ll do a video on how to do this at some point, since it’s a popular request… but you should also just try checking eBay to look for what you need to make the wiring easier.

  4. hahah i came across your video and the gag reel at the end had me on the floor. no to play “the im a girl and dont know anything about cars card” but i honestly dont know anything hahaha but i actaully used your tips to install my xm radio and my guy friends who are pro installers are really impressed. thanks alot for this video. :P

  5. i have a ford focus, and i can see that installation will be easy as you say, but what if i don’t have an audio input port already installed? will i need to have one professionally installed?

  9. This is probably the worst way to install a satellite radio. The antenna wire routing can cause it to become damaged, and placement of the radio itself could be hazardous for someone driving and becoming distracted fumbling to change a channel. Have your satellite radio professionally installed; or if your factory head unit permits, purchase a direct interface. There is no drilling required for professional installation on a direct, fm modulated, or Aux interface.

  11. I currently have two Sirius radios with 2 lifetime subscriptions. So once they decide to phase out Sirius satellites, do have to run out and buy SiriusXM radios? and what the hell happens to my subscriptions?
