When it comes to your vehicle, you take every step to keep it running in peak condition. When not in motion, a top tier car cover can provide protection from a number of environmental factors. Covercraft, maker of some of the best car covers available, has teamed up with Motorz through the Ridez contest. Check out this month’s winner and his very sweet project Mustang below!
Attention grabbing cars can certainly turn heads, even amongst those that know little about cars. Incredibly well developed project cars like Michael Lee’s 2013 Ford Mustang 5.0 can help raise chiropractor rates. Lee’s ride beautifully combines brutal power with a sleek yet imposing exterior. To begin with, the full RTR body kit accentuates the Mustang’s already aggressive design. A GT500 spoiler further hints at potential speed along with carbon fiber rocker panels, GT500 style grill and Roush lower grill delete.
Under the hood, an Edelbrock E-Force Stage 2 Supercharger delivers a considerable increase over the factory V8’s capabilities. Lowering springs, lower control arms, a one piece aluminum driveshaft and 20-inch wheels help the suspension translate the added power to the ground. Lee said he has watched every Motorz episode and taken advantage of the phenomenal content. “They helped me a lot, from installing lowering springs to changing my cloth seats to leather,” he said.
Future modifications include full front and rear Cortex suspension elements, a full roll cage, rear seat delete and more. Check out the gallery below to see the build at this point.
