Chris Duke shows you how to install a BedRug pickup truck bedliner from BedRug, Inc. (formerly Wise Industries) on a 2010 Ford F-150. Filmed live at the 2009 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV.
I have personally owned a BedRug in every truck I’ve owned (3), including my current Ford F-150. I have never had an issue with it, and it always looks great. If it gets dirty, I just hose it down and it looks new again. Even with an open bed truck, the BedRug is easy to maintain.

Episode Notes
This SEMA-special episode is 5 of 9 episodes we filmed while in Las Vegas at the 2009 SEMA Show. Promoted as an eBay Motors workshop titled “Mastering Installation Videos”, Chris Duke and his Motorz TV crew installed a total of nine products over the course of three days, November 3-5 in Vegas.
Even though Motorz TV Season 2 ended at the end of September 2009 (Season 3 begins in January 2010), this event gave us some great new content to publish between seasons.
In this episode I share the spotlight with winners of 2009 eBay Motors Master Contest, Hong Quan and Alan Decktor. They are two of four winners who entered an eBay video contest to show off the build-up of their ride. They won a trip to the SEMA Show, an appearance on MOTORZ TV, and more!

Someones getting lazy, lol JK. 5/5
Great install video, Chris. How well does the bedrug hold up with the elements in an open bed (no tonneau)?
LOL. Check out the page for this episode at the MOTORZ TV website for a little background on why I have help in this episode :)
From what I’ve heard it holds up well. A good friend of the show who lives in NY has one in his open bed F-150 and it’s held up great for years. To clean it, he just hoses it down!
not a big fan of carpet in the truck box (as rain would build up with a open box), but i guess it makes some sense, as you can easily slide objects in and out of the box with out fear of damaging it on a rough bed liner surface, thus i guess its a good idea for people who need such abilities (like someone who moves furniture or objects that can mark easily) great video, and great product
@motorztv Cool! Good to know… I hate tonneau covers on my truck.
Decent product. A friend of mine has one and loves it. For me, I haul too much crap (dirt/rocks) so I just have a drop-in plastic bed-liner
I will check it out (seen your site before) love your videos, watched everyone of them. Can’t get enough!

Thanks for watching (and heckling!!!)
If you haul a lot of things that need to be protected (furniture, for example), this is a great product. If you’re hauling dirt and such for landscaping, you’re better off with a plastic bedliner or spray-in.
Thanks for watching the episode. I love my BedRug… very easy to move boxes and stuff around, and it’s easy on the knees :)

they should’ve worked from the inside out. What was the point of wiping everything down if they were just gonna climb in the bed with their dirty shoes? cool video though

these are great if you have a topper. it’s what we used

I could see this so called “Bed Liner” miserably failing because the reason people use bedliners, is so that they dont scratch their bed with the materials that they may put in it in the future, and thats basicly a carpet in the bed. Things like fencing, are going to just rip that and tear it apart, that is NOT something that i would buy, at all. Nice video though.

bed rugs are for people who dont really use thier trucks.
@offroadingmachine007 You fail at knowing what you are talking about. If you bothered to research the Bedrug you would know its made from the same super tough Polypropylene that many other parts of your truck is made from.
does it hold up well against long rainy days?
Cool video. Thanks for posting.

@mrjost55 Lol – I was thinking the same thing.
what about drainage?? wouldnt water pool in the bed?
@fastmach100 If water gets in the bed, it just dries out. The material is ‘breathable’ so any water trapped under it will naturally evaporate.
i personally dont like bed rugs shows stains and would be harder to clean in my opinion compared to a bedliner or a spray in bedliner.
yeah, i think its more for transporting products in rather than as a general use kinda thing

As skepical as I am about a bed rug, I’ve had a drop in liner that still caused rust because it rubbed against the paint. This would be good for carrying groceries and even tools. The rug looks like it could be washed with a hose and could stain, but it’s a truck.
