February 23rd, 2011 at 6:06 pm
@integraz32lover LOL! It was just my camera guy and I that day. I built the other 2 by myself prior to that one in the episode so it’s no big deal…

@integraz32lover We all have our moments I guess, but for the most part No–we have so much fun filming this show we usually have to stop laughing and get serious before a take.

February 23rd, 2011 at 9:07 pm
Those those tools are sweet that’s why I never go to sears because I would end up walking out with to much of that stuff and Chris you forgot the zoot!
February 23rd, 2011 at 9:18 pm
@bsl3216 I know the feeling… it’s like walking into a candy store every time I walk into the tools section. I didn’t forget the zoot… it’s just no longer a part of the show.
February 23rd, 2011 at 9:37 pm
i envy you guys
February 23rd, 2011 at 10:11 pm
@motorztv Hey do you know anything about wyotech? have you heard anything?
February 23rd, 2011 at 10:16 pm
@GenuineCriminal I’ve heard some good things about it, but I don’t have any personal experiences to share sorry!
February 23rd, 2011 at 10:53 pm
hey chris i really like your show, i also saw that your a crafstman guy just like me but what do you think about snap on tools? have you ever used them? will you ever use them? are they really that much better than crafstman tools? because my friend recently bought some snap on ratchets and he keeps saying that craftsman is nothing compared to snap on. he says that just because snap on makes ratchets with swivel heads.
February 23rd, 2011 at 11:41 pm
WOW awesome tools, but man are they expensive. looks like you have 10k worth of tools.
February 24th, 2011 at 12:32 am
@003Mexicano ….snap on is better, ask the pros. when you really, need a quality tool, snap on will win everytime
February 24th, 2011 at 12:53 am
I agree about the honda. not that theres anythign wrong with a ford… but a B series would be cool to see worked on.
February 24th, 2011 at 1:22 am
I’ve almost given up hope on Motorz, you post a video like once a year.
February 24th, 2011 at 1:34 am
@RoniisH In 2010 I produced 20+ videos. Keep in mind that when it comes to editing and distribution I’m a one-man show. Also see the previous video “Motorz TV February 2011 Update”. Thanks for watching! -Chris
February 24th, 2011 at 1:43 am
Yes Im getting my Spark Plugs, Luis Rodriguez, I love E3.
February 24th, 2011 at 7:22 am
@003Mexicano well i have some input. snap on can be VERY expensive. but my dad is a mechanic and he does buy snap on, mainly becuase they are tough well designed and have a lifetime warrenty, hes just had a plastic mallet replaced, free of charge and it was also about 10 years old. so they are a company that you pay for what you get. some times though u dont need the most top quality stuff, so think if it siuts your needs
February 24th, 2011 at 8:37 am
Hey Chris did you switch the F-150′s wheels to DC-2′s or is that from the Jeep JK in the after shot?
February 24th, 2011 at 8:37 am

February 24th, 2011 at 8:54 am
@003Mexicano I have no personal experience with Snap-On tools, but I can tell you that there’s been many occasions when we’ve been filming on the weekend and we needed a tool–a Sears store was accessible and we got our tool quickly. Due to my relationship with the Sears Blue Tool Crew, you won’t be seeing anything on my show that’s not sold at Sears.
February 24th, 2011 at 8:55 am
@dilpickle218 I loved them on the JK so I got them for my F-150 as well :)
February 24th, 2011 at 8:55 am
@mariokart209 Congrats! I’ll send you an email soon…
February 24th, 2011 at 9:05 am
“they give you all the tools you need, even the allen” hahaha and I’m hoping to attend UTI next year :D I’m excited to get in the car game
February 24th, 2011 at 10:56 am
Congratulations on having such a great set up. Question though, is that compressor you have a two stage that can be used for painting? Also, I’m digging that rotor and caliper clock you have back there.
February 24th, 2011 at 11:05 am
@reallunacy Thanks! It isn’t, but you can learn more about the Craftsman Professional 27 gal air compressor by going to sears(dot)com/tools and searching for p/n 00916474000
February 24th, 2011 at 11:05 am
@AnythingWeThinkOf Good luck at UTI! Please let me know how it goes…

February 26th, 2011 at 9:36 am

February 26th, 2011 at 9:37 am

April 4th, 2011 at 4:07 pm

June 22nd, 2011 at 2:11 am
@motorztv I was also told that most of the tools are in sets only, so there was no way to get just single items anymore. its went from great service, to “sir, thats too many tools to warranty” (under 15 tools is too many?), to, sorry, you engraved them or sorry not avail. anymore, or we dont sell them single, sorry. can you talk to someone @ sears for me please! I watch every show you guys make, I am planning a garage renovation and like this episode. I am just skeptical now considering
June 22nd, 2011 at 9:27 am
@MoonlightAutoRepair Have you tried their customer service or Facebook page?
August 30th, 2011 at 9:23 pm
That is the way a shop should be. Everything should be organized, so you can find whatever tool you are looking for when the need arises. Also I love how you all keep the tools nice and clean. It helps keep the boxes clean too, in some shops they don’t clean the tools so rust, grease and dirt are all up in the tool box. All you need is a lift and an alignment rack, but you’d probably need more space for those.
August 30th, 2011 at 9:25 pm
Nah, you’d definetly need more space cause I don’t think your roof is high enough for an alignment rack or a lift. Also you’d be pretty crammed with them.
August 30th, 2011 at 9:25 pm
@suddnstar Thank you for watching, and the for the great feedback! Most of these tools were new at the time we filmed this episode, however we always clean them up after we use them so they are all still looking great!
November 29th, 2011 at 8:25 pm
Love the show. Recently got a 2005 Mustang GT and I’ve been watching a lot of your episodes. I’ve been a mechanic for about 15 years and love the work. most of my hand tools are craftsman (started my career at a sears) but my air tools are snap on. Like you said, sometimes I need to replace a tool and Sears is handy when the parts truck isn’t. I’ve been trying to look up a set of E3 plugs, but my parts house desn’t carry them… any suggestions other than summit? I’ve got a set of chambered mufflers on now with a cai, programmer, a ram air hood, as well as some show-me stuff for this winter. Keep up the good work and I’ll send pics when I can :)
January 15th, 2012 at 7:40 pm
Thats super awesome and all, but how much did all of those shelving units and toolboxes cost? probably around $3000 to $4000 for everything?
January 24th, 2012 at 1:55 pm
I’ve done some work to the interior of my garage, check out the progress and maybe get an idea or two (?) Search: ‘Finished Garage with 2 Post MaxJax Lift’ on You Tube or Google to see my video

Whats the Floor Made of?
May 3rd, 2012 at 10:47 pm
The old floor is RaceDeck. The new flooring that you see in more recent episodes is called NORSK. Both types are available through Sears, although RaceDeck isn’t (a similar product is available from other manufacturers, however)

This is an infomercial for Sears, but instead of talking about the products you demonstrate furniture assembly. I haven’t seen any of your other videos, and I will try them, but this one is lame.

Great garage, Chris! I just did a Gladiator garage makeover myself. Question – which hooks are you using to hang your cordless drivers there? I’d like pick some of those up, but it’s hard to tell which one it is. Is it the scoop hook?
