Dude, that is called velcro, not hook and loop, haha
September 10th, 2011 at 9:13 pm
@wbc564 Yes, Velcro is a hook and loop fastener. Since it’s a trademarked name, some manufacturers have to call it something else :)

How long do you think that piece of carpet will stay stuck to the tailgate? Maybe a day… (if you use your truck).

As long as you clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol, it stays on forever. We have the BedRug on several trucks and the rug has not started to come off anywhere.

I bought one and it leaked the first day, so I took it back and had it diagnosed and fixed only to have it start leaking again, so back it went and again it leaked. I then tried a different shop and they put butyl tape on the window and low and behold after a few months of sun the goop came out and the water began seeping in again. Now I’m told that since two years have passed the warrantee won’t cover this anymore. I’ve been blown off when I try to call Leer and the dealer wants $60hr to fix it

All shells leak. If it is from the windows then that is a problem. The shop I work for sells a different shell but I have never disconnected the third brake light and in five years never heard anyone complain about the light coming into the cab. As for the bedrug they are awesome.
