  2. salemcripple Says:

Like the night rider theme in the beginning lol.

  3. FallenRequim Says:

do you need to buy the kit or can you just buy the single bulb and plug and play

  4. 1g2002541 Says:

    super Kool

  5. 114269 Says:

great vid! Good informations for boltons!

  6. BizzareOne Says:

He makes it look SOOOOO easy…the hard part is scraping the $500 it takes to BUY the PARTS. love the outtakes

  7. motorztv Says:

Thanks BizzareOne. It might look easy because the video is edited to move things along quickly, but it really isn't that difficult and that's the point of MOTORZ — to show people that adding mods like this really isn't that difficult. Thanks for watching!

  8. RT_Auto Says:

    Another good vid

  9. alloldschool Says:

sweet mod, probably the easiest thing to do other than replacing wipers. great vid

  10. ThizzXtreme Says:

    likin the vids

  11. Kelmark_E Says:

Gotta love the "where'd my beer go?"

  12. Joe735 Says:

HELL YEA! AMERICANMUSCLE.COM!!!!! Thats where i get ALL my parts.

  13. NoReplacement4It Says:

Nope, the hard part now is to get a Mustang. LOL! Nice vid.

  14. FabZ Says:

end product looks nice. I didn't even consider the "bring more attention to your car" bit by other motorists, but it makes sense.

  15. leonardomoses Says:

yes correct, as the oil from your fingers stays on the bulb and will cause a difference in surface temperature on the glass and will cause it to blow.

  16. mrjost55 Says:

@tumdeax yeah I was thinking the same thing, isn’t it going to blind other drivers without projectors? Also I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to drive with reflective lamps with xenon bulbs.

  17. 0spaceboy Says:

    @tumdeax not

  18. matttitaly8 Says:

    awsome video

  19. provehito44 Says:

you dont NEED to get projectors but its suggested

  20. Benballin2 Says:

Will the HID set up work for the pony package fog lights in the V6? Thank you in advance.

  21. baberam Says:

i dont see why you have to have all that wiring for the hid’s lol you can buy a plug an play kit WITH plug ins not the wire tips love the bloopers :]

  22. bestamerica Says:

why this mustang car do NOT have 2 amber yellow lights on the taillight for turning sign

  23. kevinlew41 Says:

    Well, I bought the sequentials!!

  24. alexvrce Says:

how much do the sequentials cost?

  25. desimunda116 Says:

I want to do this to my Honda Civic Si. Is it a fairly similar process?

  26. jimmymullet Says:

Definately agree with you. Without a projector, HID upgrades just look like someone bought a pair of $10 super blue “Xenon” bulbs off ebay.

  27. texan176 Says:

I love the sequential tails which are so much more simple than the mechanical ones Ford used in the 1960s. But the HID fog kit that uses pins inserted into the stock connectors and requires electrical tape is pretty bad. Talk about ghetto engineering. Made in China probably. Ford should just sell their own clean install HID kits with new headlights made for HID out of the SVO catalogue for older mustangs. It would be a hot selling item.

  28. texan176 Says:

100% correct. A few other cars like Lexus SC, 94+ Mistsubishi 3000GT/Dodge Stealth, Nissan 300ZX Z32, and Infinity J30 can get away with it.

  29. Domestickid Says:

Thanks guys i did the hids for my fog lights and this video got it done in 20 min for me

  30. immadafunky1 Says:

The process of putting in the sequentials only takes about 30 minutes and it’s VERY easy. The only problem(s) I had was my ‘Stang has the Shaker 1000 system so it took a bit longer than the 30 minutes it stated. I took some tape and labeled the signal bulbs 1, 2 and 3 and it worked awesome. Good luck to anyone trying this. It looks awesome when it’s done.

  31. walperstyle Says:

Thumbs down. Great for people that are not DIY dudes. Where is the vid that shows how it works, and how do make it yourself? Some of have other cars that would love to do this with our own custom LED tail lights.

  32. Freddy Says:

hahahahahah “GANGSTER LOOKING CASE” hahah that was unexpected yet funny

  33. bastec666 Says:

yup illegal upgrade. you have the reflector lens headlight style, which is used with normal bulbs. then you have the projector lens headlight style, which is used with H.I.D. Its not just illegal in my state, its illegal in all 50 states to have a H.I.D. setup in a reflector housing. You CAN upgrade to H.I.D, that is not illegal, but not changing the reflector to projector is illegal.

  34. chad4887 Says:

Hey Chris, love your videos! I just bought an HID conversion kits for my Mustang GT Headlights and fogs. I wanted to ask where you mounted the ballasts. I know you said you put the fogs near the passenger headlight. For the head lights, theres a perfect spot near the fuse box for the ballast, but what about the driver side? Thanks!

  35. chad4887 Says:

yes, you have to buy a kit

  36. airick12345 Says:

hey that looks really sweet, they lok easy, and just a quick stupid question, when doing this im guessing you need yrou battery off right? and also do they have a two light squestional light, or on eof those wigwag lights? i have a 2004 impala, and i was wondering if that would look at all good, the wigwag ones look awesoem with impala lights, but i think they might be illegal.. thanks!

  37. achavez78 Says:

Leave it to FORD to engineer a vehicle that makes you nearly take the car apart just to replace a lightbulb. and they wonder why their sales are in the toilet. The lights look sick though.

  38. toyoracing89 Says:

@achavez78 Sales arn’t in the toilet for Ford. In fact, sales for Ford vehicles has actually risen 26-30% since early March and they’re continuing to rise due to customer confidence fading in makes such as GM, Chrysler and Dodge, and now Toyota. Ford is the only business actually MAKING money now, not losing it like everyone else.

  39. toyoracing89 Says:

Arnt HID headlight conversions illegal in most states?

  40. Heezy2090 Says:

can you buy brighter bulbs with the sequential kit? iwant my 2006 to have the 2010 like tailights.

  41. MrFreddykins Says:

@achavez78 Lol, thats why Ford is operating in the black while GM, Chevy, and all them had to become Government Motors? Fords sets everything up like that for a reason. :)

  42. SqueakyBoy92 Says:

@toyoracing89 all depend on how bright they are. I have them on my truck and Ive been fine so far.

  43. iitzyOfaCe Says:

awesome head/fog lights man. how do you order the H10s? are they usual just fog lights or you have to specifically order them in fog lights?

  44. killersushi99 Says:

2 wires!! ITS TOO COMPLICATED!! ARRRG! Curses you more than one wires!!

  45. DudeWithaPage Says:

thumbs up if you rotfl when he said “gangster looking case”

  46. FreakSaber Says:

Fear the GIGSTER LOOKING CASE!!! :P

  47. Biggieontube Says:

this video is very informative, but could you do make a video showing the same thing on an older mustang like one from 1998

  48. wonderbreadkw Says:

do some headlight kits not connect ot the battery?

  49. vdzrussell Says:

@wonderbreadkw, Yes. In fact, yesterday I installed 55watt HID kits in both my fogs and my headlights and no direct connection from kit to battery. I think u only need to connect to the battery if the HID bulbs are hi/lo. Meaning they are high beam and low beam. in which this case, for the mustang, the headlight bulbs are hi/lo.

  50. ChrisGugliuzza Says:

@achavez78 Whereas almost all other vehicles you have to take to a shop to do almost anything!

  51. ChrisGugliuzza Says:

    @amayaguillen Yeah, because they’re tincans.

  52. TheAudiophile12 Says:

    nice case….

  53. acoustic996 Says:

Where can I buy the sequential tail lights??? I want the ones in this video..

  54. motorztv Says:

@acoustic996 We got them through AmericanMuscle (dot) com (see it at 9:13 in the video)

  55. sideburns2009 Says:

@wonderbreadkw the better aftermarket kits usually will, most aftermarket kits flicker due to an uneven current and the battery acts as a capacitor to prevent that. Some of them just have a capacitor built in.

  56. roaddiablo Says:

@motorztv When i had my 96GT I looked all over an could not find them, even scoured junk yards for old machs an tbirds that had em. But, I no longer own the stang :( as it was stolen an blown up….

  57. mrbiggoggles314 Says:

Watching many of your videos all at once, all with this mustang, im hearing “undo these clips, these just pop off, unplug these, undo all these clips, and these clips, pop these off too” Does this mustang have screws or bolts at all? LOL

  58. motorztv Says:

@mrbiggoggles314 There’s a lot of plastic when it comes to the lights, that’s for sure!

  59. TwiztidJustice Says:

idk bout yall, but when i put sequentials on my stang i had to replace the signal relay under my dash

  60. wes Says:

you should do an install of an under tailgate lightbar on the f150

  61. xRSECxBLITZ Says:

I don’t have to run a relay thru the front of my truck, i just connect it to both lights without having to disconnect or deleting the other one

  62. mchero88c Says:

@toyoracing89 its funny when people like achavez dont know their facts

  63. puppetking232 Says:

Now will it blink in sequence when your breaking or just when you use your turning signals?

  64. person3213 Says:

@puppetking232 just turning and hazards. it would be dangerous if it did it with your braking.

  65. sethakym Says:

@bastec666 actually i know hids are legal in alaska as long as you dont get anything past 12k. and most projectors say not to use hids. hid bulbs are longer than standard halogen bulbs. yet they still work just fine, sometimes you have to order shorter bulbs though.

  66. sethakym Says:

were those 8k bulbs? hard to tell on camera.

  67. guitarist155 Says:

no aiming???? the Hid bulb is in a different location from the halogen and can change the beam spread and blind on coming drivers.. it’s a great mod if you want to look like your car went to a botch shop.. do a factory conversion with full lenses or don’t do one at all.. other cars are on the road as well and need to see.. if looking cool is what you want then go ahead, but good halogen lenses will beat them any day and can be properly aimed..

  68. brucekirk89 Says:

wow courger tail lights hmmm,my 1969 had them LOL And i wish my job would let me take time off for sickness

  69. HotCheeks808 Says:

i just installed mine and all the bulbs turn on like if i were turning on my lights, but when i use my blinkers two of the bulbs dont go off. Did i do it wrong? or do i need new bulbs?

  70. td2123456 Says:

WHERE DID U GET THE HEAD LIGHTS KIT FROM AND THE FOG LIGHTS KIT FROM

  71. motorztv Says:

    @td2123456 AmericanMuscle

  72. phatkat66 Says:

I tried looking for the same Kit you have on americanmuscle and they don’t seem to have it. Can you give a direct link in your description to the product? Or PM me a link please.

  73. rkelley94 Says:

are those the plug n play ones?

  74. motorztv Says:

    @rkelley94 Yes

  75. TheChristopherboss Says:

What model of those HID kit is it? 8000k? or what? those are the ones i want.

  78. coolguy10060 Says:

  79. coolguy10060 Says:

thanks for existing motorz tv now I know a lot of things for installing on cars yet again thanks a lot

  80. jeffw2294 Says:

Holy shit…. how did that man fit inside the trunk? O.O

  81. motorztv Says:

    @jeffw2294 It wasn’t easy, but I fit!

  82. TUFFGUYS1 Says:

id like to see u ride in the trunk with the trunk open LMAO!!!

  83. motorztv Says:

@TUFFGUYS1 Can’t do that… but maybe we can find a real trunk monkey somewhere that can!

  84. TheBeermacht Says:

Tail Lights looks nice. But this quite new Mustang looks like my 21 year old VW Corrado. Technology from the 1990s.

  85. BlackGT45th Says:

Retro sequentials for a retro inspired car.. good choice!

  86. TheGALR Says:

What k are the headlight HID’s??

  87. TheGALR Says:

What k are the headlight HID’s??

  88. XMP991 Says:

The sequential tail lights would look beast if they had LEDs instead of regular lights.

  89. 213machoballer Says:

@motorz..where can i find this for german cars like vw jetta

  90. tbok75 Says:

Question. I’ve considered an hid upgrade but read not to. That full hid kits are suited for projector beam housings, that the light thrown is WAY too bright and often illegal. Anyone shed a lil light on the subject?

  91. bablake14 Says:

Wow! just found this videos,Dream come true! can you do a vid on a push to start button

  92. FloydRoseDiscovery Says:

Will it hurt the light if you touch the bulb? I am about order some. and I want to know alot about them first

  93. FMuscleZ28 Says:

Damn these musthings look cheap! Is there something not plastic in there?

  94. MacSaab93 Says:

Taillights would look a lot better if they were LED.

  95. trainedtiger Says:

Hey Chris, do they put the timedelay relays inside the bulb connector housings?

  96. motorztv Says:

@trainedtiger I honestly can’t remember since it’s been so long, but I don’t believe it’s part of the bulb connector.

  97. Sismiques Says:

@motorztv Wait, didn’t they make many Mustangs from the factory with the sequental tailights?

  98. crazycrazytony Says:

    First!

  99. lasercombo Says:

doesnt hazard warning light = both indicators flashing at the same time and not the brake lights?

  100. mjdmzn Says:

STOP POSTING VIDEOS PLEASE!!SAVE SOME FOR OTHER TIME

  101. MYung023 Says:

Are the beam pattern with reflectors? Will it blind other drivers?

  102. cebayne Says:

Ummm, you touched the bulbs in the tail light… bet they won’t last long now…

  103. BlindMansRevenge2002 Says:

I’ve never understood y in most of these after market applications there is the need 4 cutting, krimping, & or splicing in 2 the OEM wiring harnis. If their going 2 spend the time & money in the R&D process 2 produce these parts y don’t they go a little further & manufacture them with the appropriate OEM male-female quick disconnect plugs 2 simplify installation. The same goes 4 most after market door speaker applications

  104. SicknTwistedDreams Says:

If you do happen to touch the bulb, the best thing to do is use an alcohol wipe to clean the oil off. It removes any oil or grease and doesn’t affect the life of the bulb.
