I’m glad I saw your video, but you made it look deceptively easy. “Popping” the “surround” out was NOWHERE near as easy as you showed it to be. I nearly snapped the thing in half, but took my time and finally got it out (barely). You also skipped where you wire the harness to the radio, which took me forever. Otherwise, thanks because I probably wouldn’t have tried it without your video.

Just finished installing a new head unit in my ’06 F150. I used your video as a guide on how to do it. I’m glad I saw your video, but you made it look deceptively easy. “Popping” the “surround” out was NOWHERE near as easy as you showed it to be. I nearly snapped the thing in half, but took my time and finally got it out (barely). You also skipped where you wire the harness to the radio, which took me forever. Otherwise, thanks because I probably wouldn’t have tried it without your video.

I want to replace my alpine interface with a new one because the one i have now doesn’t have a audio in or usb. can i buy a new one and just snap it in the cd player i have now?
